The New SGS Website!

The South Gloucestershire Show (SGS) is a celebration of life in South Gloucestershire and a showcase for lifestyle and leisure in and around the county.
At the time of the redesign the old SGS website was 6 years old and had been used successfully for previous shows. However due to the increasing popularity of the show, the website needed to conform better to user demand, not only on an information level but usability.
This is where Peak Design came in. Taking their already established content, a new design based loosely on the existing website, was developed behind the scenes. This new design allowed for a responsive approach to be put into place and an entirely new CMS to allow for easy maintenance.
Responsiveness and optimisation were the ultimate focus of this website development while maintaining the established SGS brand identity and fun approach.

Overall, a fantastic project to work on that was both enjoyable and a learning experience. With the show just around the corner (16 days at the time of this post!) we’re all hoping everyone loves it.
