Peak’s Charity Skydive for Macmillan

It’s happening again! Some of you may remember that we did a charity skydive last year for CLIC Sargent.

Well it seems like we’re taking to the skies again this year in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, this time with the entire Nebula team!

…Instant regret, at least for our developer, AGAIN!

The charity

As mentioned above, our chosen charity this year will be Macmillan Cancer Support.

Macmillan Cancer Support are a fantastic charity of full of supporters, professionals, volunteers, campaigners and people affected by cancer. Together they make sure there’s always someone there for you, to give you the support, energy and inspiration you need to help you feel more like yourself again.

But why a Skydive, again?!

Well it seems last year just wasn’t enough for our beloved developer David, who is indeed still petrified of heights. Cue endless hilariousness in the office again! However this year, we’ve got the Nebula team on board (and they can’t wait of course).

“The closest I’ve ever got to skydiving is zooming in on Google Earth really really fast and I was completely content with that…”

I guess we could label it as character building – but we’re an honest bunch.

So if you’d like to sponsor a developer to fall out of a plane, please do either get in touch or by using the handy widget on this blog post. We want to raise as much money for this amazing charity.

When is it?

We’re aiming for the 6th of October 2018, weather permitting, at the Netheravon airfield.

We’d also like to thank anyone who does help us raise money for this special charity with a follow up blog post after the skydive.

If you’re happy to have your name displayed on a blog post then please do include it on the Just Giving page or let us know.

More details to follow closer the date!

Thank you!
